Terms of Service
Last updated: September 28, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Thinkroid Technologies Inc., a company based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, which operates Attaky ("Attaky", "we", "us", "our"). They apply when you use any of the following (together, the "Services"):
- attaky.com, including its contact form;
- Attaky Docs and Attaky Manuals;
- Module Configurator and Module Assembly;
- the Attaky Firmware Store;
- the Attaky Model Gallery;
- the Attaky Blog;
- Attaky Accounts; and
- any other website or service we operate that links to these Terms.
Purchases from our online store at shop.attaky.com, and the products you buy there, are covered by the store's own terms and policies, not by these Terms.
By using the Services or creating an Attaky Account, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Services. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data.
1. Who can use the Services
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Services. By using them, you confirm that you meet this requirement. If you use the Services on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these Terms for it.
2. Your Attaky Account
An Attaky Account lets you sign in to the Services that support it. When you have an account:
- Provide an email address you control and keep it current, so we can reach you about your account.
- Keep your password and other sign-in methods secure. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.
- Tell us through our contact page if you believe someone else has accessed your account.
Handles, nicknames and profiles. Your handle, nickname and other profile details must not impersonate anyone, suggest an affiliation with Attaky or anyone else that doesn't exist, infringe anyone's rights, or be offensive. Handles are not property, and we don't guarantee that any particular handle will be available. We may refuse, change, reset or reclaim a handle or nickname, and edit or remove other profile details, at any time and without notice, at our discretion — for example, to resolve an impersonation or trademark complaint.
Deleting your account. You can request deletion of your Attaky Account at any time in your account settings. Your account stays active until we process the request. Deleting it ends your access to the Services that use it. Our Privacy Policy explains what happens to your data.
3. Content you share
"Your Content" means anything you upload, publish or submit through the Services, such as firmware, 3D models, images, descriptions, release notes, source links, reports and messages.
You keep ownership. You keep whatever rights you have in Your Content.
What you allow us to do. For content you submit for publication, such as listings, firmware, models and images, you give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, process, adapt (for example, converting formats, compressing files or generating previews and thumbnails), display, distribute and make it available for download through the Services, and to show it when presenting the Services. For private submissions, such as reports, applications and messages, you allow us to store, process and share them as needed to handle and administer them. We may let our service providers do these things on our behalf. These permissions last while Your Content is on the Services and for a reasonable time afterwards to remove it from our systems. They do not affect copies that others have already obtained under the licence you chose.
Licences you choose. If you publish content under an open-source or other licence, others receive the rights that licence grants. We don't change your licence, and we aren't responsible for enforcing it. If Your Content includes material from others, such as firmware based on another project, you must follow that material's licence, including any attribution and source-code requirements.
Your responsibility. You confirm that you have the rights needed to share Your Content, that your description of what it does is honest, and that sharing it doesn't break the law or these Terms.
Our discretion. We may review, edit, refuse, restrict or remove any content, at any time, for any reason and without notice. We have no obligation to monitor content or to keep any content available. Keep your own copies of anything you upload.
4. Acceptable use
When using the Services, you must not:
- break the law, or help or encourage anyone else to;
- upload malware, or firmware designed to damage devices, collect data without the user's knowledge, or hide what it does;
- share content whose main purpose is unlawful surveillance, jamming or interfering with radio communications or networks you don't control, or making weapons;
- infringe anyone's intellectual property or privacy, or post someone else's personal information without permission;
- harass or threaten anyone, or post hateful, sexually explicit or spam content;
- impersonate anyone or misrepresent your affiliation with anyone;
- access or probe our systems without permission, get around security measures, rate limits or access controls, or use automated means in a way that burdens the Services;
- create accounts by automated means or to get around a suspension, or sell or transfer your account or handle.
5. Firmware, models and other downloads — at your own risk
Content from others. Much of what is available through the Services is provided by other users and third parties, not by Attaky. Descriptions, compatibility notes and other claims are made by the person who published the content. Any review we do before content is published is limited and is not a promise that the content is safe, works as described, suits your device, or is lawful to use where you are.
Flashing and printing. Installing firmware, changing device settings, and printing or assembling 3D models involve risks, including devices that stop working, damaged hardware, lost data, overheating, fire and injury. You do these things at your own risk. Back up your data, follow the instructions, and use suitable materials and equipment. Installing third-party firmware may affect your device's warranty, as described in the terms that came with your product.
Radio rules. Some firmware controls radio transmitters, such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, LoRa or cellular radios. Radio laws, including permitted frequencies, transmit power, duty cycles and licensing, differ from country to country, and some firmware can be configured in ways that aren't legal where you are. You are solely responsible for making sure that the firmware you install, and the way you configure and use it, complies with the laws that apply to you.
This section also applies to firmware, models and documentation published by Attaky, to the extent the law allows.
6. Reporting content and copyright
If you believe content on the Services infringes your copyright or other rights, or otherwise breaks these Terms, use the Report option on the listing where one is available, or contact us through our contact page. Include enough detail for us to find the content and understand the problem, and, for rights claims, tell us which work you own.
We may review reports and act on them, manually or automatically, at our discretion. We may remove or restrict the content, contact the person who published it, or take no action. We may close the accounts of people who repeatedly infringe others' rights. Knowingly submitting a false report may lead to action against your account.
7. Attaky's content and brand
The Services and the software, design and content we create are owned by us or our licensors. Some of our firmware, documentation and other materials are published under open-source or other licences, and those licences govern their use. Apart from that, you may use the Services only as they are intended to be used, and these Terms don't give you any other rights in them. "Attaky" and the Attaky logo are our trademarks. Don't use them in a way that suggests we endorse or are affiliated with you or your content without our written permission.
8. Feedback
If you send us ideas or suggestions, we may use them without any obligation to you.
9. Other websites and services
The Services link to websites and services that we don't control, such as source-code hosts, community platforms and project pages of other developers. We aren't responsible for them, and your use of them is governed by their own terms.
10. Changes to the Services
The Services are provided free of charge and change over time. We may add, change, suspend or discontinue any part of them, including features and content, at any time and with or without notice.
11. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or close your account or limit your access to the Services, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe that you have broken these Terms, that your use creates risk or legal exposure for us or others, or that we are required to do so by law. We may also remove Your Content as described in section 3. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should continue to apply after your access ends will continue to apply.
12. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Services and all content available through them are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.
13. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- Attaky and its affiliates, directors, employees and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill or use, or for damage to devices or other property resulting from firmware, models or other content you download, install or use, arising out of or relating to the Services or these Terms, even if we were told such damages were possible.
- Our total liability for all claims arising out of or relating to the Services or these Terms is limited to CAD $10.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
14. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you will defend and compensate Attaky and its affiliates, directors, employees and agents for any third-party claims, losses and costs, including reasonable legal fees, arising from Your Content, your misuse of the Services, or your breach of these Terms.
15. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. The courts of British Columbia have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services.
Nothing in these Terms limits rights you cannot waive under applicable law.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms here with a new "last updated" date and give any additional notice required by law. If you keep using the Services after the change takes effect, you accept the updated Terms.
17. General
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any additional terms shown for a specific feature or listing, are the entire agreement between you and us about the Services. If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our not enforcing a provision is not a waiver. We may transfer our rights and obligations under these Terms, for example as part of a merger or sale of assets; you may not transfer yours without our consent. If these Terms are translated, the English version controls.
